On behalf of the Social & Literacy Development Association, Mr. Q.H. Khan President of the Association has been awarded for International Achievers Award on social activities 2009 in New Delhi on 27- Jan-2010 for best achievements in providing welfare services to disabled persons, to women and children,education and literacy,providing employment and training especially to rural women and unemployed youths.
Provided own shelter to 100 families living below poverty line and benefitted about 2000 population of rural area.
Provided employment to about 5000 unemployed youths including women, SC,OBC & minority communities through vocational training, computer training, income generation training etc. And about 25000 population has been benefitted indirectly financial supported by CAPART, National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation, Rashtriya Mahila Kosh.
Provided Drinking water sources to 3000 poor people financial supported by CAPART.
Generated awareness in about 20000 poor peoples including women to elevate from below poverty line and to improve their quality of life financial supported by CAPART, Central Social Welfare Board, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Environment and Forests, PEMEGP of KVIC, investors awareness programme of IEPF from Ministry Of Corporate Affairs etc.
Provided equal status in society to 100 disabled persons by providing them awareness generation, income generation training, Health care etc and about 1000 person benefitted indirectly financial supported by CAPART and National Handicapped Development & Finance Corporation.
Literate about 10000 poor students living in Rural areas with scholarship facilities, Madarsa Education financial supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
